Linux for mobile devices
Each time more the Linux comes gaining space, not only in computers, but now also in mobile devices. Companies develop each time more mobile devices that twirl the operational system. In the Brazilian market already they are available some of these devices.
The operational system Symbian (that currently it is used in cellular) cost between 5 and 7 dollars for telephone, while a system based on Linux would leave for less than this, what probably it would diminish the final cost of the devices based on the operational system Linux.
Devices based on Linux already are very popular in Asia, but they had so far not had much success in the Europe or the United States. Only in Asia the Motorola distributing more than 3 based million cellular in the Linux technology, to its consumers.
The Linux is attractive for the manufacturers in such a way for its capacities how much for the cost. The operational system can decide some of the problems that the manufacturers face to construct telephones with complete functions as cameras, displays colored and navigating of InterNet.
